Carol began her professional life as a high school math teacher.  After teaching for four years, she decided to further challenge herself by going to law school.  Campbell Law School prepared her for a purposeful life of leadership and service.  As PENC's Executive Director, Carol will serve as the liaison between you, the member, and PENC's lobbyist, Evelyn Hawthorne.  She will also represent PENC at the State Board of Education and on various education-related committees.  

Bill is a retired Health/Physical Education instructor and Athletic Administrator.  His 29 years of service to the teaching profession will prove to be an asset to PENC.  He will serve in a management role for the home office and be involved with recruitment and membership.  In addition to his day-to-day duties he will also serve on the Recruiting and Scholarship Executive Board Committees.

Tamara serves our members who have employment-related concerns.  To best assess the member's needs, she will request factual information about the employment issue.  She ensures that each member's concern is referred to the appropriate staff person and promptly addressed.  Tamara will also be happy to verify membership status and inform you of PENC's liability insurance policy.
