Renew Now! $250 Classroom Makeover Giveaway

The 2017-18 membership year has begun! Since school has started, be sure that you have coverage in place! You should have received a physical renewal form in the mail. Please make any necessary changes to your information and mail back your completed form with payment using the enclosed envelope if you have not already done so. In addition, you can renew online HERE.

All renewals or new memberships received by October 31st will be entered to win one of four $250 Classroom Makeovers!

If you are currently on Payroll Deduction as your payment method, we highly encourage you to switch to the Installment Payment Plan. This guarantees you will have six predictable and consistent drafts of $27/$14 and will not have a lapse in coverage should payroll deduction be eliminated. To switch, complete the Installment Payment section of your renewal form or click HERE to submit an online form.

Upcoming Workshops

The Helping Early Literacy with Practice Strategies (HELPS) Program is an easy-to-use reading program that has been demonstrated in numerous, published research studies to improve students’ fluency and comprehension. HELPS can be implemented one-on-one or in small groups, and is shown to be effective when used for only 10 minutes per day, three times per week. To learn more about HELPS please visit www.helpsprogram.org. Registration will open 1-2 months prior to the workshop date.

HELPS One on One - September 23, 2017 - Hillyer Memorial Church, Wake County - Click HERE for details

Get Involved!

Each One Reach One

If EACH ONE of us strives to REACH ONE new member, we could double our membership in just one year – double the impact and double the strength of our voice!

In the coming year, we challenge you to recruit one new member in order to receive a discount ($27 for Educators, $14 for Support) on your membership. Click here to learn more about our new initiative.

Partner Level Membership & Member Representatives

Become a Member Representative! Member Reps serve as a voice for PENC within their schools by distributing materials provided by PENC, sharing upcoming opportunities, and working towards earning a FREE membership as a Partner Level member by referring 3 members. For more information, please contact the office at 919-788-9299 or email Bill Medlin at bill@pencweb.org. An added bonus of agreeing to become your school's PENC Member Representative is that it can be included on Standard 1 of the Teacher Evaluation System/Teachers Demonstrate Leadership. (Teacher Effectiveness Manual pgs. 7-8)
