About the Event
Helps Education Fund, in partnership with PENC, is pleased to be offering trainings in how to implement the HELPS Program virtually. Virtual HELPS was developed throughout March and April 2020, in response to the pandemic and school closings. After After 6 months and more than a thousand hours of research and development, preliminary data suggest that Virtual HELPS is just as engaging and effective as our in-person HELPS Program that has decades of research support. To learn Virtual HELPS, we are offering educators a 3-hour training to learn the program, learn how to implement all the user-friendly digital tools, and learn how to access all the needed literacy materials and digital tools for free. The workshop is recommended for educators with or without past experience implementing the in-person version of HELPS. By the end of the training, attendees will have the knowledge and resources to implement the HELPS Program virtually with students. Are you interested but cannot attend on October 27 or November 18? No problem, we will be offering other training dates. Contact Janice Pidgeon to learn more firstname.lastname@example.org
