Call for PENC Regional Board Members

Are you interested in taking a greater role in shaping your profession and affecting change in education? PENC would love to consider you for service on its Board of Directors. On April 21, 2018 at the PENC Annual Meeting, we will be electing new members to serve as Representatives on the Board for Regions 2, 4, 6, 8 and At-Large Representative.

Regional Board Representatives play an integral role in our organization because they are in the field sharing the benefits of PENC with colleagues and providing feedback to PENC Staff and fellow Board members on critical education issues within our state. Serving as a PENC Board member is a way to be a Teacher Leader at the state level while serving as a voice for your colleagues both statewide and regionally. Service includes attending meetings in Raleigh 3 times per year with an additional Board Retreat annually. If you are interested in being considered for a nomination on the Board as a Regional Representative, please send your resume and email with a statement of interest to Bill Medlin at [email protected]. Thank you for all that you do for PENC and the students of North Carolina!
