SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The PENC Executive Board invites members in good standing for at least two years and who are pursuing post-graduate studies in an education related field or school leadership to apply for the Continuing Education Scholarship. PENC will support your professional endeavors by making the check out directly to your college or university.
One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a selected applicant. Members may apply as many times as they wish, but past recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to reapply.

CHILDREN OF PENC MEMBERS
SCHOLARSHIP
The PENC Executive Board invites members in good standing for at least two years, to encourage their child(ren) to apply for college tuition scholarships. Eligibility is for the student applicants to graduate from a high school or a GED program and be enrolled as a full-time college students by the fall semester of the calendar year in which they earn the scholarship. Checks will be made out to the college or university.
Four scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to selected applicants. Children of Members may apply as many times as they wish as long as they qualify, but past recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to reapply.

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
HAVE SPECIFIC CLASSROOM NEEDS?
Apply for a PENC Mini-Grant
The PENC Executive board invites members in good standing who demonstrate a need for instructional supplies to apply for a PENC mini-grant. Grants will be awarded to educators who propose innovative ways to utilize instructional materials that actively engage students or can demonstrate a clear need for basic instruction supplies. The proposal must include the amount the teacher is requesting for the specified need. Teachers from all areas of content areas and grade levels are encouraged to apply. Checks will be made out to the school the applicant is current assigned to and requesting the funds for.
