MAKING EDUCATED CHOICES

It’s an election year and there are many matters on the line for our students, schools, educators, and communities. You feel it every day, you see it and your vote is your voice—you must use it.

In North Carolina, schools are directly impacted by those who are elected in the office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Gubernatorial, and Lt. Governor. While PENC neither endorses nor contributes to political campaigns, we do encourage every professional educator to learn as much as possible about them. PENC encourages you to consider the qualifications of each candidate carefully, and make an informed decision about each candidate before casting a ballot. With that goal in mind, we are going to make it easier for you to find this information so that you can #VoteYourVoice. Visit our website and social media for answers to FAQs, voter registration look up links, and more. We hope this information will be valuable to you as you decide which candidates to support in the primaries and the general election this year. Share your resources and knowledge with us using the hashtag #VoteYourVoice so we can share it with fellow educators!

Research. Register. > #VoteYourVoice
